Functional testing, interpreted in the context of your full health story—using a structured, data-driven approach to identify patterns and create a clear plan.

Your symptoms aren’t random. They form patterns.

You know the fatigue. The weight that won’t move. Sleep that doesn’t restore you. Labs that come back “normal”—even when you know something isn’t right.

These symptoms often show up together, reflecting patterns in how your body is functioning.

Those patterns extend beyond symptoms—they show up across your lifestyle, health history, and test results. Together, they point to underlying imbalances across your body’s systems.

Once you begin to understand what may be contributing, the next steps become clearer.

about

Hi, I'm Jen

I’m a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner based in New Jersey, working with clients locally and across the country.

I came to this work with a background in computer systems analysis—a pattern-finder by nature—the kind of person who keeps digging until I understand the whole picture. I bring that same mindset to functional health: thoughtful, thorough, and rigorously determined to uncover and address the things that undermine the beautiful, working balance of the body's systems.

I don’t diagnose or treat disease. This work is designed to complement your medical care—not replace it.

Common Questions

Yes. All testing is done at home, apart from any blood draws, if applicable. Everything else is delivered remotely — intake forms, results and recommendations, your plan, and support. You don't need to be local to work with me.

No. I don't diagnose or treat disease. My work is meant to complement your medical care, not replace it. I'll encourage you to stay in touch with your doctor for things in their scope of practice.

Unfortunately I do not accept insurance. Functional work like this isn't typically covered by insurance, though some clients have been able to use HSA or FSA funds toward testing and services — it's worth checking with your provider. I will provide you an itemized receipt for tests that are purchased as part of your program.

The rules of some states, including New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, make certain things about practicing there a little more complicated, but not impossible. I live in New Jersey and work with clients here regularly. If you're in one of these states, we can work to get you the testing you need, while staying within the bounds of your state's given rules and regulations.
